5 Minute simple and sexy Valentine's Day Look

I know there is a lot of women out there that don't like to spend too much time and use too many products to get their makeup done. This is super simple and easy holiday look, you will still look like you, it requires only 5 products and 4 brushes😊💄 it will give you radiance and gorgeous holiday sexy glow. I used Make Up Forever Ultra Foundation, Make Up Forever Sculpting Duo, Estée Lauder Mascara, Dior Addict Lipstick Passionnee 771 and Estée Lauder Loose Powder. I did add some Estée Lauder Illuminator to my foundation but you can easily skip this step because it's pretty luminous on its own.. Thanks for watching, hope you will enjoy it. I apologize for the quality - I shot it on an Iphone in 5 minutes :)

Hair Trial

I would definitely recommend a hair trial even if you really trust your hairstylist. If you have an idea of what you want for your Big Day you should still try it and see if it looks as you expected - sometimes even the most elaborate hairstyles might not go along with your face shape so you will have to come up with plan B "on a fly”…

I think it’s very helpful to text or email your artist the picture of your dress so they can give you an advise what hairstyle in their opinion will go the best with your gown - some dresses look amazing with any hairstyle - up or down, but some of them just call for that “elegant updoe”!  If you are not sure - then try a couple hairstyles to see which one complements  the look and  works best in your opinion, only then make your final decision. By the end of the day - it’s Your Day - and your comfort and confidence - are all that matters..

Hair jewelry. I think whether it’s a rhinestone comb, pearl hair pin, crystal hairband or tiara - it always add up to any look and gives it beautiful and radian sparkle and premier elegance. If you are not sure what will go best with your look then- consult with your artist. You can pick something yourself or ask your artist to find one for you. A great place to look is - check it out, make sure to do it ahead of the time so it will arrive before your hair test.

Always consider weather conditions…If it’s humid - make sure hairstylist uses Anti-Humidity Hair products. That will reinsure your hairstyle to last longer and your look to be flawless throughout the whole day.

Don’t be afraid to use a lot of Super Strong Hold Hairspray - your hairstyle needs to last for many hours, unless you are changing gowns and changing your looks as well.

If you know some of the qualities of your hair- it’s always helpful to share them with your artist,  for example whether your hair holds or doesn’t hold curls for a long time, ext…

Feel free to notify your hairstylist of you have any specifics - for example - you would like to stay away from braids, you don’t really like your hair teased, if you have sensitive scull, ext…

All these little things come in play and really matter to make the experience maximum pleasant and comfortable and result incredible so you will look stunning and unforgettable on your Special Day!

Makeup Trial

I know it’s a lot of work to be a bride and a lot of things to organize and figure out.  I can’t say enough about the importance of makeup and hair on your wedding day to complete the look and make this day memorable and timeless on pictures and video. One thing to remember - whatever makeup you like and prefer you need to make it little  brighter for the camera.

I wanted to put together a short list of things to know  about your makeup  trial and some simple recommendations about your wedding makeup and hair.

Please allow at least 45-50 min per look for your makeup trial.

Please make sure to tell your artist if you have latex allergy or any kind of allergic reactions to any cosmetic products.

Schedule your makeup trial in advance and to have your makeup test at least 2-3 weeks before your wedding day

Consider doing it during the day so you can see it with the day light.

It will be very helpful for an artist and easier for you to explain what look you are going for if you will bring a reference picture or you can simple text or email it to your artist if you will find one in advance. It will make work faster and more productive.

Please take to consideration your skin color and shape of your face - the same makeup won’t look the same on different skin color, so artist will need to do necessary adjustments.

If you are going for a "natural look" I would still recommend you to bring a picture of reference  - from many years of experience I learned that every woman has her own idea of what’s “natural” for her, what’s “smokey eyes” for one bride might be “natural” for the other. I believe it depends on the amount of makeup you wear on a daily basis that defines you comfort level and what is “natural”.

Choose a lipstick that’s one or two shades brighter than what you would normally wear not to look washed out on pictures.

Please tell your artist whether you normally wear minimum or a lot of makeup every day - that will help to get an idea of how comfortable with colors and amount of makeup you will be on your big Day and how heavy they can go.

Try briefly explaining what it is exactly that you like about the makeup on your reference picture.

Eyelashes : Please feel free to share your opinion about false eyelashes with your makeup artist. I personally would recommend false eyelashes for every bride - they definitely make your eyes stand out and create more bright and strongly defined look. If you are not used to wear them - then consider getting individual eyelashes - they look the most natural and will be weightless on your eyes - so you will forget about them completely. If you are ok with the strips - that’s a great way to go as well.
